Apartments Sprachalka

Basic information

Locality

Two new reconstructed apartmants Sprachalka are situated in a small village Sklenarice, which is situated on the border between Jizera mountains and Giant mountains and about 2 km from Vysoke nad Jizerou. Thanks to a very good location of Sklenarice there is excellent entrance to important ski areals and ski-towns. In the surrounding there are many tourist mark-ways and cycling tracks for summer tourism, cross-country skiing and down hill skiing tracks for winter tourism.

Description

Newly reconstructed mountain cottage Sprachalka offers two apartmants, each of them is about 65 m² with building kapacity 4 adults + 2 children to 14 years. We offer accommodation mainly for families with children and seniors, maximum capacity of cottage Špáchalka is 12 persons (2 x (4+2)). Object is situated next to the sustained road with parking place for 4 cars by the cottage.

Accommodation

Ground floor: main input, hall, bathroom with shower bath and WC, 30 m² living room with television, dining-recess, eating nook (glass ceramics board, fridge with freezer, microwave oven, electric-kettle, etc.).
In living room there is a fold-out sofa with double bed.
Attic: Two double bed rooms and WC.
Oast: room for ski and bicycles is available.

Boarding

Foodless, but you can take some food in pub Mexico (300m), restaurant Harry (700m) or Pizzeria Sachty (1500m).

Winter activities

During the winter there are good conditions for down hill skiing as well as for cross-country skiing. The nearest ski lift (100m) is Metlak (stage length 150m), which is suitable especially for children and beginners. You can get to Metlak directly from the cottage Sprachalka. From Metlak you can further go on to the ski lift Sklenarak (stage length 250m), which is connected with ski areal Sachty through the use of blue ski slope. In ski areal Sachty you can exploit local Ski School.

Apartmants lies 4 km far from ski areals Paseky nad Jizerou and Kamenec, 6 km from ski areal Rejdice (one of the best snow areals in the Czech Republic), 12 km from ski areal Rokytnice nad Jizerou and 15 km from Harrachov. All resorts have a big capacity and large slopes.

There is a lot of cross-country skiing tracks (e.g.: along Stepanka view-tower, Harrachov, Rokytnice nad Jizerou or ski areal Sachty). You can take advantage of being on top of the ridge and take one of the cross-country ski trails that are connected to "Jizerska magistrala" - the biggest cross-country ski-area in the Czech Republic.

Summer activities

There is lots of possibilities for walking and cycling. You can use bathing establishment directly in the place (150 m) or swimming pools in Jablonec nad Nisou (3km) and Vysoké nad Jizerou (3km).

Leisure time

Club Vysoké nad Jizerou - bowling, billiards, darts.
ZOO, Botanics gardens and Aquapark Babylon in Liberec.
Rack-rail Tanvald – Korenov – Harrachov (the most steep rise in the Czech Republic).
Bob-sled track, Mini – brewery, Glass museum and Mine museum in Harrachov.
Not so far from Sklenarice there is a biggest cascade in the Czech Republic called Mumlavsky cascade.
We can recommend visitation of Historical and Geographical Museum in Vysoke nad Jizerou, where you can see unique movable Bethlehem.

Notice and Tips

Smoking is prohibited in the whole area of apartments.
Ski lift Metlak is free of charge for children up to 10 years.
